Beetroot Parantha
Ingredients
For the stuffing:
- 2 Beetroot grated
- ½ teaspoon cumin seeds
- 2 vertically slit green chillies
- Salt- to taste
- ½ teaspoon black pepper corn powder
For parantha dough:
- 5 cups wheat floor
- Salt-to taste
- A pinch of carom seeds/ ajwain optional
- Water to kneed the dough
Other ingredients:
- Oil/ butter/ ghee to apply all over the parantha
Instructions:
- In a fry pan, add oil and heat it
- Add cumin seeds and allow it to splutter.
- Add green chillies and sauté it for few minutes.
- Add greated beetroot, sauté for few seconds.
- Cook for 2-3 min on low flame.
- Add salt and black pepper powder.
- Mix and cook for another 4-5 minutes on low flame.
- Stuffing is ready.
- For a dough, in a mixing bowl add wheat floor.
- Add salt and mix.
