Vegetable Upma
Ingredients:
- Oats: 2 spoons (10gms)
- Suji: 2 spoons (10 grams)
- Peas: a handful
- Mushrooms: 2-3 (optional)
- Beans: 3-4
- Onion: 1 small
- Capsicum: ½- 1 small
- Carrots: 1 small
- Mustard seeds: ½ teaspoon
- Curry patta: 4-5
- Green chilli: 1
- Oil: ½ spoon
Preparation
- Put half spoon oil in the pan, add mustard seeds, curry patta, chopped onion, chopped green chilli and cook for some time.
- Add all the vegetables and keep for some time on slow flame.
- Add oats, suji, and aprox 1 glass of water.
- Continuously stir the mixture and add salt and garam masala.
- Add lemon juice, and keep for 6-10 minutes on slow flame.
- Serve hot.
