Amaranth And Vegetable Tikki
Ingredients:
- Amaranth: 1/4th cup
- Boiled potato: ½ small
- Onion: ½ small
- Bell pepper: 1 small
- Salt
- Red chilli
- Garam masala
- Coriander leaves
- Green chilli
- Turmeric
Preparation:
- Bring the amaranth and water to a boil in a sauce pan. Reduce heat to medium-low, cover and simmer until amaranth is tender and water has been absorbed, about 10 to 15 minutes.
- Mix the amaranth, mashed potato, chopped bell pepper, onion, salt and other spices.
- Form the mixture make into 2-3 small tikki
- Heat the olive oil (1/2 spoon) in a non-stick pan
- Cook the tikki in the hot until heated through, 2-3 minutes per side.
- Ready to serve with chutney.
