Vegetable Poha
Ingredients
- Poha- 3 spoons (15 gms)
- Oats bran: 2 spoons (10 gms)
- Peas: a handful
- Mushrooms: 2-3 (optional)
- Beans: 3-4
- Onion: 1 small
- Capsicum: ½- 1 small
- Carrots: 1 small
- Mustard seeds: ½ teaspoon
- Curry patta: 4-5
- Green chilli: 1
- Oil: ½ Spoon
Preparation:
- Put half spoon oil in the pan, add mustard seeds, curry patta, chopped onion, chopped green chilli and cook.
- In a separate katori soak poha and oats bran and drain off the water.
- Add all the vegetables and keep for some time on slow flame.
- Add soaked poha, oats bran in cooked vegetables.
- Continuously stir the mixture and add salt, turmeric etc.
- Add lemon juice and keep for 6-10 minutes on slow flame.
- Serve hot.
