Masala Omlette
Ingredients:
- 3 eggs
- 1 medium onion, finely chopped
- 2 tablespoon oil
- 2-3 green chillies, finely chopped
- 1 tsp red chilli powder
- ¼ teaspoon turmeric powder
- ½ teaspoon cumin powder
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- Salt to taste
- ½ tsp sugar
- ¼ chopped capsicum
- 2 tablespoon chopped coriander
- 2 teaspoon grated processed cheese
Method:
- Heat one tablespoon oil in a non-stick pan. Add green chillies, sauté and add onions. Sauté till golden brown.
- Add tomatoes, sauté for 2 min on high heat.
- Add red chilli powder, turmeric powder, cumin powder, coriander powder and stir well.
- Add salt and mix well. Sprinkle some water and mix well.
- Add sugar and capsicum and mix well
- Switch off heat and allow it to cool.
- Break the eggs in a bowl. Add little salt and beat well.
- Add the prepared mixture to the eggs and mix well.
- Add coriander and mix well. Add cheese and mix.
- Heat remaining oil in a non-stick pan. Pour the mixture and spread evenly.
- Lower the heat, cover and cook for two to three minutes or till the eggs are cooked well.
- Remove in a serving plate & serve hot with toasted bread.
